Hi, Although I received a lot of information during the slow Mohs surgery, the plastic surgery unit's information giving has been a bit lacking. I went for a check up a week after my forehead flap surgery and told them I would be starting a new job a week and a half after my surgery and was that OK. They said as long as I was sensible then it was OK. First day at work went well and then on the following day I felt so ill my new employers had to get me a taxi home. I phoned the hospital and they said I probably went to work too quickly! I then had to go to my GP and he signed me off for another week. The thing is I feel worse now than I did in the week after my surgery. The wound close to my eye is seeping again and I have had splitting headaches and feel really weak with no energy. The only thing the hospital said to look out for is if my nose goes very white and pearly looking. Has anyone been given advice on general recovery period and what to look out for in an infection. Thanks! For more details: Company Overview Video
